Can we meet face to face before the event?
Absolutely! We can meet, communicate between phone or email, or all three. I encourage people to meet with me beforehand to get a feel for the event and to make sure we are a good fit. Please feel free to contact me at any time during the process with any questions you might have.
Do you have all the music I need?
I have an extensive library of songs! In the unlikely event I don’t have your song (for instance, if it’s a rare recording or version), I will give you the option to provide a CD or digital file ahead of time. We Can also collaborate on streaming platforms Spotify & Tidal.
What is your DJ style?
Clean mixing, Vegas show style, artistic with tasteful scratching.
What is your MC style?
Awesome. Tasteful, not over-the-top or cheesy. Energetic and fun. Not overactive on the mic, I like to let the music do the talking. I can MC as much or as little as you need.
What are your favorite genres?
Jazz, R&B, Funk, Rock, Hip Hop, Ska, Reggae, Country, Alternative, EDM, Disco
How involved can we be in the process of selecting our music?
I give you full license when it comes to the music that's being played. It's your day! I want to play what you want to hear. You can choose every song, or just give me genres to go off of. You can make sure I know exactly what you want by filling out my wedding guide form in the "forms" tab of this website. Please note that I will take requests if you want me to. I understand that a lot of planning can go in to the music selection of a party- so I give you the option of taking requests or not. No matter what- I will not play what's on the "do not play" list.
What areas do you cover?
I cover the greater Coeur d’Alene area and Spokane. There is a small fee of $50 for anything outside a 30 mile radius of Coeur d’Alene, and a fee TBD outside a 60 mile radius.
Who will be the disc jockey at my event?
Cameron Cox, owner and operator of Couer d’Alene DJ. If I am not personally available I can send one of my highly skilled DJs to meet with you prior to see if they are a good fit for your event.
Can you provide references?
Yes, please visit my testimonial page. I can also provide you with professional vendor contacts upon request.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Yes, I’m fully insured by RVNuccio & Associates up to $1,000,000 which covers theft as well. I can provide a certificate to the venue if needed. I’m also a member of the American Disc Jockey Association.
What are your payment and booking terms?
50% Up Front and a signed contract. Balance is to be paid no later than the end of the event.
Can you hold my date for me?
I can hold your date for you for one week. Once I receive your 50% retainer and signed contract your date is secure.
What is your backup policy?
I haven’t missed an event in 15 years! But in the highly unlikely circumstance that does happen, a replacement DJ will be provided.
Do you take any breaks?
There will be no lapse in music from start to finish. Outside of a bathroom break or time to eat a quick meal, I will be present for the entire event.
What will you wear?
For set up I wear nice slacks or shorts and a collared shirt or polo. For the main event I wear what's appropriate. Usually a suit or a collared shirt and a vest with nice slacks.
What do you require from us?
A power source close to the set up spot, a 6ft table (if this is impossible I can provide upon request), a signed contract with deposit and completed guide form at least 1 week prior to event to give me time to prepare. Please let me know if a vendor meal will be provided so I can be prepared. Having a vendor meal is greatly appreciated for gigs booked for more than 3 hours.
